How can i update rosters on madden 11

Okay so I updated the rosters so that Favre and Vick are on their respective teams, but when I went into my franchise none of the rosters have been updated. Is it possible to update my franchise rosters so that they have Favre and Vick even though I'm already into week 5 of my franchise 'year one' season?

All you can do is start the franchise all over again with an updated roster.
